dear Fredericton:

There's a movement spreading across Canada. People are getting together to tell politicians that we're going to vote. On May 2nd, we're going to stop voter apathy in its tracks, head to the polls, and VOTE. Rick Mercer issued a challenge to the nation, and the nation's responding in song and dance in VOTE MOBS!

A vote mob is a NON-PARTISAN group of people who come together, run around, wave signs, and build ene...rgy around our right to vote. Think of it as a music video...for democracy. Vote mobs have been happening across the country, and now, it's Fredericton's turn.

Spread the message far and wide: meet THIS Saturday (April 16) at the MARKET at NOON - we'll gather just outside the Caisse Populaire at the corner of Regent & George. We'll then head out and start the filming of Fredericton's very first vote mob (ie...the FMOB!)

All YOU need to do is this:
1. Check out the links below - they're films of other vote mobs!
2. Share THIS invite with everyone you know!
3. Show up - it's numbers that make this effective.
4. Bring a friend - or two, or three, or your whole household, office, residence, team, whatever! Get everyone out!

Check back to this invite for more details in the coming days. Rick Mercer knows this is happening - let's show him, the politicians, and our community that FREDERICTON VOTES!

If you have any questions, please post them on the wall. We'll do our best to answer them quickly! Thanks!
