The event will take place April 23rd at 2:00pm in Victoria Park (@ The Clock) AND will be concluded by voting @ your polling station.
This is a non-partisan event, we just want you to VOTE! By coming out, you will show politicians - and other Canadians - that WE ARE engaged AND that apathy is boring (http://apathyisboring.com/).
You are encouraged to wear red and white - Canadian pride - though any colour of clothing will do, we just want you there irregardless of what you wear (well maybe some exceptions, hahaha)

The Vote Mob movement was inspired by the University of Guelph and has been replicated in campuses and communities across Canada.Vote mobs encourage friends, families, neighbours, and communities to get out and vote, together. Let's make KITCHENER proud!

- We're looking for additional representatives in the community to get involved and help promote and coordinate this event.

WHAT NOT TO BRING:
Please do not bring any political party symbols/insignia. The purpose of our rally is to get the electorate engaged, AND to get EVERYONE OUT TO VOTE! (You also aren't allowed to wear partisan symbols/affiliation into a polling station! AND we will be voting in advanced polls after the event)

HOW TO VOTE:
1) On election day: May 2nd
2) At advance polls: Friday, April 22nd, Saturday April 23rd, or Monday April 25th
3) By special ballot: Vote between now and April 26th
- Go to local returning office, 1375 Weber Street East (KITCHENER-CENTRE) or 230 Regina Street North (KITCHENER-WATERLOO), fill out a form, and vote on the spot
- You MUST spell out the name of the candidate you wish to vote for, names and affiliations of candidates will be provided at the returning office.
ID REQUIRED:
Either
1) Government ID that has your name, address, and photo. (e.g. driver's licence)
2) 2 original pieces of ID: both of which have your name, and one must have your address (e.g. student card and credit card statement)
3) Swear an oath and have someone vouch for you. The voucher must have ID and have their name on the list of electors in the polling division.
